How is it done?

The treatment is carried out with an experienced Registered Nurse using a CO2 Fractional Laser to remove the area. The laser uses heat to ablate the skin tag away from the surface of your skin. This laser removes the area with extreme accuracy and unlike the traditional scalpel and sutures technique which would have left scarring, the laser may leave a minimal mark if any post treatment. The procedure is relatively quick depending on the size of the skin tag and you can return to normal activities straight after treatment

Does it hurt?

No it doesn't hurt, at most you can feel a little warmth in the area that's being treated. If you would prefer the Nurse the numb the area then this can be done before any treatment starts.

How many treatments do I need?

Just one treatment and its gone! Your nurse can arrange a follow up appointment to review you 4 weeks post treatment
