How does Botox work?
Botox relaxes the muscles that crease and pinch under the skin, causing wrinkles to appear on the skins surface. As our skin ages it becomes thinner and less able to 'pop back' after having a lengthy frown or even laughing. By relaxing the muscle under the skin these wrinkles appear reduced and less noticeable. Over time the wrinkles that have been etched into the skin become reduced and soften. In some cases these longer lasting lines and wrinkles disappear
Aftercare
All of our nurse-led botox treatments have an aftercare service, which includes a free follow-up session to ensure you have the desired result. This follow-up appointment is normally held between 14-21 days later.
